Jelly, an application maker with a product that attempts to redefine image searches while connecting people and enhancing online interaction, has made a bold move.
Jelly has moved.
The company, supported by such investors as Al Gore, Jack Dorsey of Twitter and Bono, has moved from JellyHQ.com to the snappy new address, Jelly.co.
“Using Jelly is kinda like using a conventional search engine in that you ask it stuff and it returns answers. But, that’s where the similarities end. […] Jelly changes how we find answers because it uses pictures and people in our social networks. It turns out that getting answers from people is very different from retrieving information with algorithms. Ron – Not only the title is not misleading, it’s 100% accurate – as is the article. Sorry to hear that you don’t approve, must be the polar vortex effect.
Actually it is fairly misleading.
Moving from jellyhq.com to jelly.co was probably the result of a shorter more concise, single-word domain.
If they decided to move from jelly.com to jelly.co, then, yes you can use your title which claims they moved from .com to .co.
Of course you can argue that you’re technically correct (yes, they did move from a .com to a .co), but it invariably is misleading (not the same domain).
Han – For argument’s sake, perhaps you read what you WANTED to read, being biased against .co domains? Because nowhere does it say that it moved from the .com to the SAME .co.
