Not content with starting off a feeding frenzy over single letter gTLD domains, domain investor Aaron Strong is coming back with a plan to conquer important brands.
Strong promised to acquire X.Technology with the proceeds from his first single letter acquisition, X.Ventures, which he sold for $1,000 dollars.
Sure enough, he acquired X.Technology four days ago, but the big one came – surprisingly – two days ago.
Computer.Technology, an absolute gem of a domain name, is under Strong’s ownership, proving that selective and focused domain registrations are necessary, in order to obtain a strategic postion with gTLDs.
Congratulations, Aaron!
Thank you Domain Gang! I am excited, now that Bina Bitterman knows who I am……lol.
Aaron – You did well, I am green with envy over this 😀
As of the time of this comment, I have received congratulatory messages as well as scoffing at “my” investments in new-TLDs. To be clear, the above story is not about moi, ADAM STRONG. It is about the “Confusingly Similar” AARON Strong who is registering these “new Gs”. Legal council is advising me on using the Uniform Surname Resolution Policy here. Regardless of that, I do wish my “brother-from-another-extension” well in his .ventures . Clearly he does have the Strong domain genes.
Adam – No confusion by me, although in this avatar your clean-shavedness strongly conflicts with the rugged, scruffy looks you sported during NamesCon. 😀
Adam,
Lol…that is a creative comment…I like that one. Regarding the “confusingly similar”, I have always used my full name to avoid any confusion. I do so knowing your name and respecting your space. Cheers to you.
@domaingang the scruff was a disguise .
@aaron just messing with you. I did buy 2 new Gs today. Was bored and didn’t manage to catch any drops today so what the heck. I’ll roll the dice.
