Former Texas governor, Rick Perry, announced his presidential candidacy for 2016, yesterday.
Despite his failed attempt to secure the Republican ticket in 2012, Rick Perry remains optimistic this time around.
“We’re just a few good decisions away from unleashing economic growth, and reviving the American dream,” he told to supporters in Dallas, adding: “It can be done because it has been done, in Texas.”
But has the domain name RickPerry.com changed hands, after being sold?
In recent days, the domain went from being parked with Fabulous.com nameservers, to being hosted, using the Cloudflare reverse proxy.
The domain RickPerry.com currently forwards to RickPerry.org, the official web site of the former Texas governor, a change that occurred in mid-May, almost three weeks before Rick Perry’s announcement about seeking the Republican nomination.
With Rand Paul paying $100,980 for his matching dot .com, we would not be surprised if the tech-savvy Rick Perry forked out some serious money for his must-have domain name, RickPerry.com.
Now he just has to remember more than two things at once and to renew his domain name.
