Frank Schilling, founder of Uniregistry should be feeling like a proud father; the domain ClickClickClick.Click is used in a fun, interactive project that turns web data processing into art.
Dot .Click is a new gTLD, operated by Uniregistry.
First off, visitors to ClickClickClick.Click need to enable their sound, as responses are given out in both written and sound formats.
The web site allows the visitor to play around in their browser, in order to unlock a number of “achievements.”
Those achievements range from how many times you click on a large green button, to how fast you move around on the page, or your clicking speed.
In voice and written statements, the narrator comes to conclusions about the visitor – you – based on your overall mouse behavior. It becomes a game of guessing what type of behavior can be recorded via the lowly web browser. 😀
You don’t have to attempt to unlock all the achievements in one go. By dropping a cookie, the visitor can continue their quest to unlock or achievements at a later time.
We tested it on Firefox 50 and the latest Chrome build without any functionality issues.
The ClickClickClick.Click project is the work of Moniker, a Dutch creative studio. Moniker specialises in interactive, print, video, physical installation and performance work.
