Sedo sale of ѕех.com did not go through

Sedo auctioned off the domain ѕех.com a few days ago; despite quite a bit of interest and a closing of $4,600 dollars, the domain has not changed hands.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time, but in this case it seems that whoever bid $4,600 dollars for the domain ѕех.com – an IDN domain – did not follow up with payment.

In the case of ѕех.com, more than two weeks passed and the WHOIS information has not changed.

When bidding on a IDN domain, Sedo requires bidders to check a box that acknowledges they are aware of this very fact.

IDN domain names can cause issues with some browsers, and a recently discovered vulnerability can lead to potential phishing risks.

On the other hand, for legitimate use, IDN domains offer the ability for business owners to reach out to local markets, in their native language.
