Danica Patrick might have lost the GoDaddy sponsorship for NASCAR in 2015, but her domain legacy lives on.
In 2009, GoDaddy aired a signature commercial during the Super Bowl; the non-censored version was deemed too hot to handle – family audiences and all.
Titled “Speeding,” the director’s cut was effectively banned By NBC.
This long “Internet only” version featured Danica Patrick, then an Indy Car series star. When it aired, it broke all web traffic records for Godaddy.com, and that includes their previous Super Bowl commercials.
