.EU UDRP discounted
Everyone is getting discounts these days, so why not get a break with UDRP fees?
That’s what EURid, the Registry manager for the dot .EU ccTLD thought, and is offering a hefty break off UDRP filings.
The sponsored discount of 1,000 Euro won’t last long, but for now it’s being subsidized towards the standard filing fee for .EU domain disputes.
In other news, the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) will be made available for .EU domains on June 1st, and the WIPO will be supporting it.
The Alternative Dispute Resolution is the procedure for settling disputes without litigation, such as arbitration, mediation, or negotiation. ADR procedures are usually less costly than the UDRP and faster to complete.
