SpamHaus, the malware activity monitor, keeps track of the number of bad domains spewing out spam, for every TLD.
Then, it calculates their “badness ratio,” based on the number of registered domains among the domains seen, and it ranks the TLDs, generating a list of “The World’s Most Abused TLDs.“
Last month, dot .Study was on top, but things have changed, and now dot .GDN, a supposedly “generic” new gTLD, is numero uno as the world’s most abused TLD.
The top three include dot .Study at #2 and dot .Webcam at spot #3.
