Sedo removed the domains OLP.com and FDE.com from its selling platform, where they appeared with BIN prices between $20k and up to $28k.
As we reported in the August domain theft report, OLP.com and FDE.com are stolen domains that belong to a portfolio of LLL .com’s that left the possession of their Japanese owner some time ago.
Both FDE.com and OLP.com were also offered for sale privately, to a variety of domain investors and brokers.
A NamePros member stumbled upon our coverage of stolen domain names, saving themselves from future trouble; we keep track of the status of such stolen domains: flipping stolen assets does not turn them legitimate, even if a buyer isn’t aware of their status.
A September update on the status of stolen domain names will be posted in the coming days.
For now, if you’re offered OLP.com or FDE.com keep in mind they are stolen property.
