The premium domain SmartPhone.com has hit the Sedo market.
Registered in 1998, at a time that predates the first smart phones by almost a decade, the domain SmartPhone.com has been used extensively in the past 20 years of its existence.
“Smart phones for the new millennium” is the phrase that was used by SmartPhone.com’s owners by 1999, and as recently as in December of last year, the domain’s lander displayed information about smart phones.
Sedo is brokering the domain with a $300,000 dollar price tag, and as always they accept offers. Contact Sedo’s senior domain broker, Dave Evanson, via the domain’s landing page at Sedo.
Note: Sedo is a premium advertising sponsor of DomainGang.com but they did not endorse this post.
Nice name hope it sells for the owner. We acquired Foldablephone.com. In 5 years more than 50% of owners will be picking up one of these phones. Samsung will be launching first foldable phone at CES next month. Nearly 15 companies are coming out with own foldable phone in next 2 years.
Who calls it “smart phone” any more? Could have got a good price 10 years ago when the technology was new. The word “smart” at the front is now redundant and people just say “phone”. $5,000 maybe, not 300k lol
Great domain name 🙂
