Finally freedom for the 33 Chilean domainers

Jose Canberra, one of the 33 Chilean domainers salvaged, after an ICANN party went bad.

The world watched in amazement yesterday as the 33 Chilean domainers trapped more than 2000 ft below the surface of the earth, were finally salvaged.

For almost 70 days, the Chilean domainers spent their time contemplating about .co investment, the latest trends in mass domain development and of course TRAFFIC in Miami.

“I register a lot domains, some pigeons and some goods”, said Alejandro Ramirez, one of the 33 Chilean domainers. “It’s ok, my wife told me missed me but I had some peace and quiet to run stats software about my PPC without her naggin, you know?”

The 33 Chilean domainers were part of an ICANN afterhours party that went wrong due to a subterranean rollercoaster breaking down and forcing them deep into old caverns.

The Chilean domainers survived mainly due to having wireless Internet and being able to read the Domaining.com news.

“Thanks Francois for news aggregator on domains, thanks for CAX.com too”, said Manuel Velanzuela who operates a popular domain forum in Chile. “I was able to keep investing in domains while trapped and we ate very little but domained a lot”.

The 33 Chilean domainers have now been invited by Rick Schwartz to TRAFFIC South Beach, as part of the rather unusual entourage of speakers which this year includes Don King and other such experienced domainers.
