Beer - a domainer's best friend.
Of course we love domains, domaining, domainers and the Domain Nation.
But on a Saturday night, beer would win over any domain. 😀
Here are a good 10 reasons why:
- You buy a sixpack of beer for the price of a dot com – especially if you use GoDaddy. For $10 you buy some really good Boston Lager such as Samuel Adams.
- You don’t need to develop, park or otherwise worry about what to do with beer. You drink it, either from the bottle or in a glass. Simple as that.
- Once you buy beer, you can keep it in the fridge for days, weeks and months. It won’t expire and you don’t need to renew it.
- There is only a small number of valuable TLDs – there is an almost infinite variety of beer for all tastes.
- Want Chinese beer? Try Tsingtao from your local store – for .CN domains you need to run a business in mainland China!
- Women that drink beer have silky smooth hair and bigger breasts. Women domainers with silky smooth hair and big breasts are a rarity. Ahem.
- Noone will try to sue you at the WIPO for buying the last sixpack of their favorite beer. If you get it first, it’s yours – no UDRP will reclaim it.
- After a couple of beers, even the worst long-tail domains have potential. But even the best domain in the world won’t give you a craving for beer. Makes sense?
- Like chocolate, beer can be a prelude to great sex. On the other hand, registering domains can often lead to divorce due to ensuing arguments.
- You can recycle – and you should – the empty beer bottles and cans. But you can’t recycle domains. So be earth-friendly: drink more beer.
