Australian domain registrar, Crazy Domains, is known for its edgy video ads but this time they’ve outdone themselves.
Ad Standards of Australia has released the most complained about ads for 2021 in Australia, with over 4,500 complaints and more than 300 advertisements involved.
The list, as far as the number of complaints go, was topped by Crazy Domains (285 complaints) and their crazy idea to depict public urination in a video ad.

Crazy Domains definitely pissed the panel off with this 30 second video ad, titled: “Don’t Get Pissed On – It’s Better Off Online.”
The ad depicts a man pissing on a storefront after a night of drinking. The punchline attempts to indicate the benefits of having a domain name and a web site “online” as opposed to a physical store.
