Once upon a time, in a small town called Dotcomville, lived a young boy named Bobby. All Bobby wanted for Christmas was a shiny new domain name, but his parents just didn’t understand the importance of having a good online presence.
One day, Bobby heard about the legendary Domain King, a mysterious figure who was rumored to have all the best domain names in the world. Bobby was determined to meet the Domain King and plead his case for the perfect domain.
So, on Christmas Day, Bobby set out on a journey to find the Domain King. He walked through the thick, fluffy snow of Florida, braving the icy winds and dodging registrars trying to sell him overpriced domains.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, Bobby arrived at the Domain King’s castle. He knocked on the door and was greeted by a giant, bearded man with a crown made of gold, shiny domain names.
“Who are you, and what do you want?” yelled the Domain King from behind the gates of the castle.
Bobby told the Domain King about his desperate desire for the perfect domain name. The Domain King’s eyes lit up; he listened intently and then chuckled.
“Ah, a young boy with a dream. Very well, I will give you the domain you seek, but only if you can solve my riddle.”
Bobby’s heart raced as he listened to the Domain King’s challenge. “What has a head and a tail, but no body?” the Domain King asked.
Bobby thought and thought, but he just couldn’t figure it out. Just as he was about to give up, he remembered something his teacher had told him in class.
“It’s a coin!” he shouted with exasperation.
The Domain King grinned and handed Bobby a shiny new domain name, Stud.com.
“You have proven yourself worthy, young Bobby. This domain is now yours, and may it serve you well,” said the Domain King.
Bobby couldn’t believe his luck. He thanked the Domain King and ran all the way home, away from the snow-crested cliffs of Florida, eager to show his parents his new domain and to start building his own little corner on the internet.
And so, with his new domain and website, Bobby lived happily ever after, spreading joy and cheer throughout Dotcomville, all thanks to the Domain King’s good deed.
Merry Christmas!
