Yasuhiro Yakamoto: GoDaddy’s super domain broker raised his fees

GoDaddy’s most famous domain broker is Yasuhiro Yakamoto, a Japanese prodigy who graduated from MIT at the age of 19.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Yasuhiro Yakamoto was hired by GoDaddy to work remotely and four years later his smiling face adorns every domain researched via GoDaddy.com.

Yasuhiro Yakamoto is licensed to broker domains via the Domain Academy, the world’s prestigious institute founded by Bob Parsons in 1974, with more than 10,000 graduated students and 240 courses that can teach anyone how to become a successful domain investor.

After four years of successful domain acquisitions getting paid only $69.99 per case, Yasuhiro Yakamoto is increasing his fees to $119.99. The price increase will help him pay off the MIT student loan and allow him to live a comfortable life in Osaka, Japan where he lives with his girlfriend Iwamoto Fuji and their dog, Koji.

Yasuhiro Yakamoto avoids publicity and only one photo of his is known to exist.

Another funny one 🤣. He might as well raise it to 1k since GD is recognized globally .He definitely needs to pay off his student loans with the extra commission he gets if transaction doesn’t end up as stalled .
