Stolen domains
Domain crime is the unlawful acquisition of domains via the direct theft or hijacking of registrant accounts managing domain names.
A new thread at DNForum is reporting the theft of these ultra-premium numeric domain names:
72.com
030.com
191.com
223.com
282.com
4589.com
6910.com
8028.com
8256.com
These domains appear to have been at GoDaddy, and a background check at WHOIS history shows that they all belonged to the same individual in China, up until the first half of June.
If you are contacted to acquire any of these domains, be aware that they are currently stolen. We will share additional information when there are updates to the status of these domain names.
