The domain name AaronWolf.com was listed on Dan.com, according to a recent review on the Trustpilot platform.
The review was made by a guy named “Aaron” who laments the loss of the domain’s ownership, at an unspecified time frame:
“Godaddy/Dan.com is an absolute scam and has been for years. I registered aaronwolf.com through godaddy years ago. They “repoed” the domain claiming I had not updated my contact info but they had no problems contacting me offering to sell me the domain I still owned for premium pricing. Absolute trash company go elsewhere there’s plenty of other options.”
Leaving such a bad review reflects on the lack of understanding the basic requirements of domain ownership, including keeping one’s contact information valid.
According to the response from Dan.com, that did not happen:
Thank you for your feedback.Per ICANN’s Domain Name Registrant Contact Information and ICANN’s WHOIS Data Reminder Policy (WDRP): “In addition, you are required to correct and update your information promptly if there are any changes to it during the registration period. If you give wrong information on purpose, or do not update your information promptly when there is a change, your domain name registration may also be suspended or cancelled. This could also happen if you do not respond to inquiries from your registrar if they contact you about the accuracy of your contact information during the term of the registration period.” I hope this information helps and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us.
Registered in 2006, the domain appears to have been in the possession of the reviewer way back in 2016.
