By creating a Facebook profile and uploading photos and delivering status updates, you are effectively agreeing to a loss of privacy that is contradicting the terms and conditions of Facebook!

How the hell is this possible?

Very simple: any information that you might release onto Facebook, no matter how private it might be, e.g. towards a single friend, that information can be surrendered to the authorities as evidence by your very friends.

In other words, your friends can show the cops your private Facebook profile and other communication, as needed, without violating your privacy rights.

“Federal investigators viewed the Facebook profile of an alleged gangster in the Bronx by asking his informant “friend” to show it to them. A judge ruled this was not unconstitutional because Facebook users can’t control what other people do with the information they post.”
