Cheetah – the legendary chimpanzee companion of Tarzan-playing actor, Johnny Weissmuller – died at the ripe age of 80 yesterday.
Immediately, Bob Parsons – CEO of GoDaddy – made the following public announcement:
“I’ve been accused of shooting at animals and while I did kill the occasional elephant or two, I would never shoot at a famous chimp like Cheetah,” said Bob Parsons.
“As a former US Marine I honor these primates, especially since Cheetah was on my favorite tv show, Tarzan, as a kid.” he added.
Bob Parsons has been receiving a lot of negative publicity lately, particularly after shooting elephants in Africa and posing with his rifle on their carcass, or supporting via GoDaddy the despicable SOPA bill.
It’s sad that Cheetah died – it’s a reminder that domaining can be a monkey business.
