Meanwhile, Chinese domain investors are struggling to maintain a steady flow of income with domain names. Average prices have dropped significantly since the glory days in 2015, at least for the short “Chinese chips” that became popular overnight.
Chinese domain spammers are now offering 950 yuan ($140 dollars) per “Western” LLLL .com – these domains are naturally worth up to 100x more their price tag at the Chinese domain chop houses.
It comes as no surprise that even the Chinese World Domain Conference organizers, Yumi.com, spammed the living daylights out of domainers recently.
