What is going on at Dynadot, we wonder, as DeepShit.com – an expired domain that sold off at an auction for $560 dollars – has been renewed at Uniregistry.
The domain DeepShit.com was recorded as sold by NameBio, but its buyer and highest bidder, domain investor Logan Flatt, had no problem with sharing the stinky news:
“I won the DeepSh*t.com auction on Dynadot this week, only to have it pulled back because the registrant renewed it. SMH.”
We asked Logan if the amount was refunded by Dynadot, and he said the money went to his “Account Prepay.”
Last week, the domain Cerebrum.com was initially renewed and the domain was pulled away from the winner’s account, all while the $23,000 dollars of the auction’s payment went to their Dynadot balance. According to DNW, that domain clawback was subsequently reversed.
So has DeepShit.com been refunded temporarily? We’ll have to wait and see what Dynadot says about that.
