In an interesting twist of business focus, the geo-domain Denver.com is switching to becoming a cannabis web site for Colorado.
A few weeks ago, the Denver.com homepage changed to the following message:
“Welcome to Denver.com – Denver.com will be the destination for all things cannabis related. Our focus will be helping shoppers find the best products and services in Denver.”
“For Cannabis Businesses Recent laws that have passed in Colorado have opened up a new market. But traditional advertising channels are hesitant and slow to adopt. Denver.com will be focused around the cannabis industry and offer multiple advertising methods for your business.”
In late 2017, Denver.com went from years of no visual improvements, to a redesigned web site that wasn’t very inspiring, in our opinion. The strong Denver.com brand came across as a Dunkin Donuts store! 😀
Now, as a marijuana dispensary guide for the progressive and cannabis-friendly state of Colorado, the managers of Denver.com will be giving this great geo-domain a unique twist!
“For Cannabis Shoppers – Use our directory to find products and shops near you. Check out a store and read what others have to say or leave a review yourself.”
“For All Things Cannabis Related For advertising, partnership and sponsor opportunities, please send an email to info@Denver.com”
So far, there is no indication that Denver.com was sold, but one can never know for sure, as the domain is under WHOIS privacy.
Can’t wait to see the results! 😀
wasn’t Denver sold for seven figures and purchased by CEO of kentwood real estate? This is a very smart biz move denver is exploding about weed.
