Domain Incite, the British domain publication that covers the industry’s technocratic pulse, has received a prestigious Royal award, we have learned.
Long lauded for his exquisite coverage of domain related news, including the close following of ICANN meetings around the globe, Domain Incite’s founder and editor, Kevin Murphy, was presented with the Queen’s Literary Achievement award.
“Bloody hell, I wasn’t expecting this, it’s like Christmas day, aye! It’s not every day that Royalty knocks on my door to deliver an award, that’s just completely hatstand, mate!”
Murphy’s recognition of blogging by the Royal Academy of Literary Arts, clearly defines the future of domain-related blogging and news reporting; the award is a reminder that hard work should be acknowledged.
“I’m not even a bloody domainer, I mean, I have no other domains besides Domain Incite but that’s my passion, to write and to uncover the industry’s byzantine complexity,” added Murphy.
Congratulations to Kevin Murphy for this award, and we sincerely wish him many more successful recognition moments in the future – hopefully, a knighthood as well.
