The DNForum trademarks are active, thanks to the updated filings at the USPTO by its current owners.
Once owned by Adam Dicker, DNForum changed hands a little over a year ago, putting the DNForum trademarks in limbo.
These trademarks are:
- DNFORUM.COM and
- DNFORUM.COM THE PLACE TO TALK DOMAINS
We can confirm that these marks at the USPTO were renewed and are active, so who owns them?
According to the USPTO documents, there are two partners – a Gibraltar corporation formed by domain investor Oliver Hoger, and one in Denmark formed by domain investor and broker, Lars Lima. These are Virtual Real Estate Limited, and DNand.com PMV respectively.
The latter operates the domain portfolio web site, DNand.com, and according to Lars Lima’s bio:
“I have been in the domain name industry since 2005. In 2004 I started my first website in the gambling niche. In late 2004 I bought around 10 expired gambling .com domain names, meaning to expand my business into several websites. Not a week after this purchase a contact in the gambling industry bought three of them for 750 USD per. It was at this point I realised the potential in selling domain names for profit.”
