The hardest part of spending two weeks in Greece is finding and hauling back souvenirs for everyone. I had to buy a carry-on for this and prayed to Hermes that it would not get lost on the way back home, loaded with so many little treasures. Hermes, protector of travelers, obliged.
I believe I did pretty good picking some quality presents along the way, whether in Athens, Santorini, or Naxos. The best presents to myself were the experiences I got to live with friends & family, the new friendships, the delicious food, incredible sights, and the engagement with the amazing, resilient people of my homeland – the Greeks.
In-between, I attempted to capture some “domain sightings” although I can’t say I tried too hard. Competing against the digital world was a universe of light, sounds, and scents taking over my senses. My camera was controlled by Greece’s sensory Sirens, their song stronger than anything else.
In the next several posts I’ll be sharing some of these domain names I encountered in Greece, in lieu of neither blogging for two weeks, or attending NamesCon.
Here’s a cute little donkey mug I picked in Santorini, where thousands of uphill steps confirmed that my knees are still 25 years old, thirty years later.
