My Canadian neighbors took a short trip back home to Montreal and came back bearing gifts from Canada, eh.
These maple creme cookies are delicious and loaded in sugars. All 400 grams of the box decorated with a Canadian flag provide two billion calories and thank goodness I won’t be eating it all by myself.
That being said, I searched high and low to find a domain name on the box. After using both my glasses and a magnifying lens, I was able to locate the domain name Citadelle.coop on it!
That’s right, not a .CA domain in sight. Citadelle.coop forwards to Citadelle-camp.coop which tells the story of the maple-producing cooperative in Montreal.
What’s a “domain sighting,” you may ask.
It’s when we encounter domain names in the real world, that appear on vehicle wraps and signs, billboards and business signs, and product packaging. For convenience, we group them into .com domain sightings, and other ccTLDs, gTLDs and TLDs.
