Gotta say I consistently have a blast at DomainFest. To be fair, though, I have yet to be a Domainer Mardi Gras.
Hell, its only a 7 hour drive from Austin. weeeee!
Its quite interesting during my third year at University of california, I was very interested to get in to domaining as big thing, and also contacted Rick Schwartz in 2008 that I want to come to conference if he could lower the price, but I could not make it, due to my father had a stroke. However I have been always looking to attend one but due to just few things I am unable to do so. I am hoping to attend conference before I get my biochem bachelors 🙂 or if not I would try to attend before med school.
The main reason I wanted to attend conference was and still is networking, and possible partnerships with fellow domainers. Due to lack of information in general public, my friends and people I know who owns preety good business, do not want to get in to domaining partnerships due to they don’t know much about it, and think this is completely waste of time. That is the main reason for me to go to conference and seek out partnerships with people who are like me and love domaining and web development.
Until Then I will keep visiting domaingang, and domaining.com and rest of the blogs and keep investing here and there and learning everday and finishing up my school.

I’ve only been to N’awlins once. gonna be great. cant wait to eat breath and live the domain industry for three days. my only regret is it being Valentines Day on Sunday or i would stay another day to squeeze in a poker tournament at one of the casinos. 🙂
