Domain investor, Drew Rosener, projects a bigger than life persona; the Panama resident and Media Options founder engages in domain investments around the clock.
When he’s not selling domains on NameJet, flipping LLL .com’s or expanding his ganjapreneur domains, Rosener is immersed in cryptocurrency investments.
Bitcoin has been attracting Drew for a while now, and he recently acknowledged exactly that passion:
“If I wasn’t already a believer in CryptoCurrency, I am now. Went to a Bitcoin conference in Panama last night hosted by one of the largest banks, Banistmo. Over 500 people, standing room only.
There was an energy and anxiety that I haven’t seen since the emergence of the internet as a disruptive technology. Not among geeks, but EVERYONE.
Most people in the room, probably more than 90% did NOT own any Bitcoin or other crypto currency. But afterwards, I guarantee at least half will either own some or at least try to figure out how. This is a revolution and if you don’t educate yourself, you do so at your own peril. This is NOT just about money. It’s about EVERYTHING. This is the future and it’s a Tsunami.”
Indeed, education is key in such investments, and there is a certain amount of risk involved.
As always, Rosener finished off with a warning to all investors willing to take the BTC route:
“I am not telling you to blindly go invest money into Bitcoin! It’s not an investment, it’s an alternative form of payment and commerce and many other things. Doing it for speculation on price appreciation is like gambling in a casino. That’s not the point.
The point is to start learning how it works and why it is a better alternative. But I will say that in my opinion starting to accumulate some, no more than you can afford to lose, is probably a very very good idea. The smartest people in the World of finance and government and virtually every other field, are in a panic trying to figure out how to use and adapt to Bitcoin. Don’t wait for them or it may be to late.”
Drew Rosener is not alone in this cryptocurrency game; Greek-American domain investor, Nick Spanos, actually operates his own educational facility in New York City.
Domain investments and cryptocurrency are both diversification of investing in the stock market; never invest with money you need for your day to day operations and survival.
