Dunkin’ (formerly Dunkin Donuts) believes that mixing coffee, a stimulant, with alcohol, a depressant, is a great idea.
Adding alcohol to caffeine is the new trend, apparently, hence the birth of Dunkin’ Spiked. There is also a version with iced tea for those that are healthy-minded.
The new range of products can be found on the web site DunkinSpiked.com. Registered in May, the domain is used to promote the new products.
A smart move by Dunkin’ Donuts to secure the domain related to the product, unlike what Starbucks did.
Still, we think the mixing of caffeine and alcohol is a bad idea.
