Francois of Domaining.com has launched a new encrypted message system, using the top tier domain, Encrypt.com.
The service allows the exchange of information using the “NSA approved” AES 256 encryption algorithm.
What good is it if the NSA can crack it then? 😀
For those of us that don’t have anything to hide but simply want some privacy – outside of the NSA realm – you can use Encrypt.com to scramble a file with a phrase; the same phrase is required to decrypt it.
You can download or email the encrypted file; the recipient cannot decrypt it without the phrase it was encrypted with, so make sure you don’t forget that.
According to Encrypt.com:
“100% PRIVATE: Encryption is done client side, password and unencrypted data are NEVER sent to our servers. “
You can check it out now at Encrypt.com.
Slamming website! Congrats, @ Francois of Domaining.com!
Great domain!
Indeed, this is a killer domain, and the service isn’t too shabby either.
I think Francois will beat Frank Schilling to the title of billionaire at this rate.
Owen – Here’s what I think: KLLKD02IDSHA2919JND020002MSJHJ2 – It’s encrypted, of course. 😀
