Eye of the Tiger is a 1982 song by Survivor, best known as the theme for the movie Rocky III.
Its driving beat, power chords, and motivational lyrics made it an anthem of perseverance and determination. Eye of the Tiger topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks and still remains one of the most iconic workout tracks.
The matching .com domain, EyeOfTheTiger.com, was recently acquired via a DropCatch auction. The winner is none other than seasoned domain investor and broker, Michael Law of GritBrokerage.
Michael spent a good chunk of cash, $2,359 dollars, to acquire the domain, beating everyone else at the auction. He forwards the domain to his account on X, a fun choice.
Michael told us that with the auction closing on a Sunday afternoon, there was less competition than he expected. In 2007, the domain was sold for $3,200 dollars in a private exchange (Source: Namebio.)
