Fadi-Chehadé is the new CEO of ICANN.
The new ICANN CEO, Fadi Chehadé takes over the ICANN leadership from outgoing CEO, Rod Beckstrom.
We had a good, joyful time with Rod Beckstrom, poking well-meant fun whenever possible, but we won’t be able to do the same with Fadi Chehadé, unfortunately. 😀
Here are five reasons why:
- Fadi Chehadé has Lebanese roots. So does Lori Anne Wardi, and we love her to pieces.
- The new ICANN CEO wears glasses. We would never punch a person that wears glasses.
- Fadi Chehadé is a former IBM executive. He’s not a faux “jeans and a turtleneck” technologist.
- The name “Fadi Chehadé” sounds very mysterious and intellectual, unlike that of the outgoing CEO’s.
- Fadi Chehadé deserves a chance; so will George Kirikos please cut him some slack for at least the first week in office? 😀
