Francois introduces new Selling Platform for REALLY low quality domains

Ninety percent of domain owners have really crappy domains.

Ninety percent of domain owners have really crappy domains.

It’s a known fact that Francois of Domaining.com is a domain entrepreneur with an ever-busy mind.

After the launch of Domaining.com and the acquisition of DNGator.com (for an undisclosed amount that he plans to take to the grave) Francois launched Domainers.org, Valuate.com and BargainDomains.com

Today, a new selling platform went live: ReallyCrappyDomains.com. We had a short but substantial phone conversation with Francois earlier which we bring exclusively to the DomainGang readers.

“Bonjour Francois, we heard that you’re launching a new selling platform for domainers that own very poor quality domains, is this true?”

“Allo – yes, I thought to myself that yes, good domains have own space, not so good domains have own selling space but why not about bad domains sell elsewhere?”

“Sounds very um, interesting. How do you plan to promote the site? BargainDomains.com has a logo with images of oranges and lemons on it. Pretty fitting, if you ask me.”

“Correct, very correct, lemons for not so good in price domains and orange for juicy. But new venture called ReallyCrappyDomains.com so the logo will be dog poop. Hahaha, funny no?”

“Francois, that’s quite the stinker, if you are able to translate the pun into French. I wonder, how bad does a domain have to be in order to get listed on ReallyCrappyDomains.com?”

“Well, very bad domain like any .tel or some .com domain with four words or LLLL .com with no vowels. We plan to list also domain that make little meaning, par example: DogWanker.com or EatBabiesAlive.com are bad, very bad. We list the merde de la merde of domains!”

“How much will you charge domain owners to list their really crappy domains?”

“We charge about 1% because we know really crappy domains sell low, so yes, very affordable, very affordable and crappy. Hahaha!”

“Thank you Francois and good luck with this new venture and we can’t wait to see the dog poop logo.”

“Au revoir and good night from France, I have to sleep but my nephew will continue domains at Valuate.com live. Don’t miss, don’t miss!”

So there you have it folks.

For the majority of domainers out there, being able to list their poor quality domains at ReallyCrappyDomains.com that’s a blessing in disguise, as 90% of all domains being offered at various domain forums these days are really crappy.

    LMAO! Love the logo specs.

Tia, very few people understand French humor. It’s an acquired taste, much like eating sheep intestines as a lemony soup for Easter, in Greece.

    Great!

Finally a place that will accept my domains for sale.

    Thanks Francois.

100% discount on my domains listed for sale at ReallyCrappyDomains.com.

Do not get discouraged, Patrick. A lot of the domains listed at Sedo, Afternic etc. are just are crap 😀

  5. I have filed a URDP complaint against Francois for this domain. Although I do not have the trademark for ReallyCrappyDomains, My portfolio and business plan have been doing business for years with that name assigned by everyone we come into contact with. I have built up a reputation as having the most really crappy domains and don’t want him to steal that from us. Looking for a pro bono counselor to help. Mr. Berryhill, are you available?

  6. Lucius "Guns" Fabrice says:

Chip, sounds like you’re getting ready to stiff poor Francois for wanting to take care of the world’s “bastard” domains. Can you really demonstrate a few samples of “domain crappiness”? I think John Berryhill stopped doing pro bono work and only works for gold bullion.

  7. Francois says:

You have access to my secret dossiers or what?

Because it’s true such marketplace is scheduled to be available around January/February 🙂

We had the name sleeping for few years: CrapDomains.com (some DNF members will remember).

    How much it will cost?

The big problem is if we charge owners then this means it’s not crap and if it is not crap then we cannot list them, and if we don’t list them then its’ absurd to charge them…. Grrrr!
I asked my dear nephew to do a valuation pause and find me a solution to this recursive problem but apparently he said it’s as difficult to resolve than the Fermat theorem so after few days of active research and my foot in his ass I said:
STOP! This one will be FREE, free to submit names, and no submission fee or sales commissions
The nephew was a bit disapointed and asked me then how we will make money?
    I did not respond:

The response BEFORE Christmas with the announcement and launch of this new secret service to come…

PS: Your post should be a great source of inspiration for this crap project 🙂

Francois, that’s awesome news – some people don’t realize that DomainGang.com is a serious publication with a fun twist 😉

Can’t wait for your project to go live 😀

  9. Samit says:

This is excellent news… for domaingang – finally a marketplace where you can list this domain :p

I assume the ‘i love you’ dog poop logo was freshly deposited by the writer’s dog too?

Meeting of great minds – poopilicious 🙂
