Danica Patrick might have lost the 57th Daytona 500 race yesterday, but the GoDaddy-sponsored car racer has a great future for next year.
Race winner Joey Lagano celebrated his victory among the Daytona crowds, having ripped out the most important part of his race car: the only steering wheel.
“Joey Lagano is finished, he ruined the most important part of his car!” exclaimed Danica Patrick, jumping with joy.
“That’s amazing that he’d do such a stupid thing, and next year’s Daytona 500 race is definitely mine!” added Patrick, giving the thumbs up.
GoDaddy fans chimed in across social media, congratulating Danica Patrick for her upcoming victory, as Joey Lagano fans shook their heads in disbelief.
“We can’t let things like this bring us down, the car should be fixed by next year,” said Marty McClown of the Lagano race team. “Sorry, Danica, it just ain’t over yet!” he added.
With GoDaddy aiming for an IPO sometime this century, odds are that Danica Patrick has the 2016 Daytona 500 race in her pocket already.
