It’s the ultimate triumph for Google; the online search engine giant, left without any competition in the virtual and online world has announced the acquisition of its own company.

Valued at over $58 billion dollars, Google will merge with itself, in a gigantic strategic move to fully dominate the entire technology sector.

Lamal Rufus, chief acquisition manager for Google announced the news earlier today, dressed in shorts and sandals, from the comfy East Wing of Google HQ. Munching on caviar and garlic bread, Lamal said:

“We will continue to accumulate the entire world’s personal data, phone numbers, addresses, pictures of girlfriends and boyfriends, their house maps, medical history, emails and Internet searches – all while respecting the power that they have trusted us with. Google is not evil.”

The news came as a shock to rival Microsoft that has been trying to gain Internet real estate via its Bing search engine. Having failed to acquire Yahoo, Microsoft will now consider new strategies, similar to that employed by Google.

“The time is now for Microsoft to acquire Microsoft; it’s the right strategic move to offset the surprising acquisition of Google by Google. It definitely set us off in orbit and we won’t stay put for much longer”, said Mania Hatzipapadogiannakis, media marketer for Microsoft Corporation.

It is not yet known if the joint company of Google and Google will be called Google.
