This news is three days old but it did not reach the domaining channels apparently.
TRAFFIC Miami/South Beach guest extraordinaire, Don King, was stopped by security at Cleveland’s Hopkins International Airport for having ammunition in his carry-on luggage.
The 79 year old King was stopped by members of the TSA having ammo for .38-caliber and .357-caliber firearms in his bag.
Jeepers!
We can’t fathom what would had happened if Don King – who mumbled about “the people’s Internet” and other such novelties during TRAFFIC Miami/South Beach – had brought the same kind of items during the conference. With alcohol and beautiful women present at the cabanas, we might have had a heated incident involving firearms.
The ammo, however, was taken and Don King was released to continue his trip, back to Florida. It is unfortunate that Don King was in Cleveland, attending his wife’s funeral who passed away a few days prior.
