Guta global market report: End-users gobble up dictionary #domains

Domain brokerage, Guta, has been releasing well-researched data on premium domain name sales and acquisitions.

The veteran brokerage with offices in the US and China is a respectable source of information, releasing quarterly reports on domain sales; its focus is short and dictionary .com domain names.

In the latest report covering Q2/2021, Guta summarized it as follows:

“End-users purchased 68 out of the 112 one-word English .com domains in Q2 2021.”

The report presents a drill-down of other popular categories of domain sales, such as LL .com domains, LLL .com domains, NNN .com domains, and single word, dictionary domain names.

A total of 6 LL .com domain sales were completed during the latest quarter, with end-user companies acquiring 4 of these.

The LLL .com marketplace performed equally well, but the majority of the buyers (13) were domain investors. Chinese buyers acquired 7 of the 17 LLL .com domain sales included in this report:
