We love Mexican-American cuisine, and by that we mean, the almighty taco.
While it’s true that it bears no resemblance whatsoever to the real Mexican food, Taco Bell wants to change your view on that.
The introduction of “U.S. Taco Co.” will attempt to fill that void in your mind and tummy, as a competitive restaurant to Chipotle.
Think rice and beans in a soft taco, only classier.
It seems that while Yum Brands, Inc., the mother company that owns Taco Bell registered USTacoCo.com and a few other extensions, they did not think outside the box. Registrations of these domains occurred a while back, in August 2013.
Apparently, someone else read the recent news, and decided to be creative, by registering the obvious: USTaco.CO.
Another brilliant example of using the multi-faceted dot .CO TLD to end up with a domain name that matches the company name or brand.
While the registrant, MDG Advertising, appears to be a creative studio, we aren’t sure that they grabbed that taco on behalf of a client.
If you feel adventurous and hungry for an eventual UDRP, you can always register USTaco.Co.com.
OK amigos?
If anyone wants to jump on the taco bandwagon i own Tacos.me and Mark Hershiser admittedly owns the better Taco.me
