The operators of the domain Houston.life have scored a major upgrade to the matching .com recently.
The domain Houston.life now forwards to Houston.com, a 1994 domain that was available for sale; that domain was reported as sold by Fred Mercaldo, CEO at Geocentric Media via LinkedIn.
Mercaldo announced the sale of the domain Houston.com, the 4th largest city in the US last week, noting that the selling price is undisclosable due to an NDA.
From our research, it appears that the buyers of Houston.com operate a number of geo-domains in the .life gTLD, such as Alaska.life, Arizona.life, Austin.life, and others.
In 2022, Geocentric Media dropped the asking price of the domain Manhattan.com to $1.1 million dollars; it’s not clear if the price remains at that level, however.
Geocentric Media owns and operates several other major geo-domains that are also available for acquisition at GeocentricMedia.com.
