Is the #Wuhan virus affecting travel plans to #NamesCon 2020?

The Wuhan virus has been causing international concern, ever since it was identified in Wuhan, China.

Dealing with a brewing pandemic affects international travel, including flights, and other busy gatherings, including professional conferences.

NamesCon 2020 is taking place between January 29 and February 1st, 2020, in Austin, Texas.

The new locale is far away from Las Vegas, a city with a reputation for debauchery. Austin is both family and entrepreneur friendly, a great foodie magnet, and was chosen as the new location for NamesCon.

It seems that the Wuhan virus is causing a change in plans for some domain industry professionals that won’t be attending NamesCon.

We can confirm that due to the situation in China, the Guta.com team won’t be present at NamesCon. It’s a hard decision for expert domain broker, George Hong and his team. Stay safe, George!

For unspecified reasons, Drew Rosener of Media Options won’t be attending NamesCon either. Drew did not explain why he won’t be attending NamesCon in Austin, Texas, but he will be missed by anyone wanting to meet him in person and tap into his energy and knowledge.

Are you changing your NamesCon 2020 plans, and why?
