In the 3rd part, John Oliver presents the extensive lengths that Purdue Pharma and its founders, the Sackler family, have gone to preserve wealth and remain untouched by the lawsuits related to the opioid crisis and the abuse of OxyContin.
John Oliver shared that when the Raymond Sackler family set up a web site at JudgeForYourselves.info to present a framework of defense, the Last Week Tonight show bought the matching .com, JudgeForYourselves.com.
For the sum of $2,500 dollars they acquired the domain in late July, most likely on Afternic, and set up a web site that is titled, “Your premier resource for information on the Sackler family and the Purdue Pharma bankruptcy.”
