Rick Latona sent out his weekly newsletter earlier today, containing several developed web properties.
As usual, the listings show how much money a web site makes (net revenue per annum) and the operating expenses – these two columns are displayed next to the asking price.
Usually the last two columns show a chunky net revenue and a small operating expense, so that the figures would justify the asking price.
In the case of the two properties above , the figures are reversed: $2.289 million expenses for PlanetRX.com in order to achieve $219k in net revenue, with an asking price of $1.2 million!
Also, SLKStore.com is listed for $40k with $56,110 in annual expenses, achieving a $13, 958 net revenue per annum.
That’s a lot of spent beans annually to achieve the claimed income.
Tough times for developers!
