Media Options has acquired the domain name Tesla.TV via the DropCatch auctions.
The acquisition price was $3,965 dollars per NameBio.
The domain dropped earlier this year, after being registered for 17 years. It served as the web site about Nikola Tesla, including a film named ” Fragments From Olympus -The Vision of Nikola Tesla.”
Naturally, these days any references to “Tesla” are about the electric car company, not the Serbian physicist and electricity innovator.
With TESLA being a registered trademark, it’s quite possible that this acquisition was made on behalf of Tesla, the company that paid millions to acquire Tesla.com.
