Serial entrepreneur and occasional drummer, Mike Mann, sold the domain CoolDomains.com recently.
Unlike some documented sales by Mike that achieved a ROI multiple in the hundreds, CoolDomains.com was an adequate flip.
According to Mike Mann’s announcement, CoolDomains.com was sold for $15,000 dollars.
Mike acquired the domain for $5,500 dollars a little over year ago, so his $9,500 dollar profit qualifies for a capital gains taxation bracket.
The almost 3x ROI multiplier could have been larger: Domain Market had listed the domain initially with a $29,888 dollar price tag, according to this capture from Screenshots.com.
The 50% discount most likely occurred recently, after Mike re-priced many of his domain names with a lower asking price.
Meanwhile, the domain Cool.Domains is available, in case Mike Mann’s buyer is interested.
