Domain investor and entrepreneur, Mike Mann, shared the sale of his domain SourceHealth.com.
The premium two-word .com sold for $30,000 dollars, most likely on Afternic. Mike’s listed the domain on his platform, Domain Market, previously with a $29,888 price tag.
Registered in 1998, SourceHealth.com was acquired by Mike Mann upon its expiration on June 22, 2012. The domain was most likely auctioned off on NameJet, although there are no sales records of it on NameBio.
Who was the original registrant of SourceHealth.com?
According to captures from the Internet Archive:
Source was founded in 1998 as an Internet company providing medical supplies and information to the disability and seniors markets. In 2000 Source entered into an agreement with Beverly Enterprises, the largest Nursing Home company in the United States, to provide comprehensive web services for its medical supply subsidiaries. Source designed, programmed, launched, and maintained Beverly’s sites, and assisted sales forces in introducing the new online products.
Congratulations, Mike!
Great job to Mike Mann…but “Source Health” is a not a premium word for a domain name. “Health Source”…maybe. But to each their own.
Anon: Google “source health” – looks like the .org holders got a nice upgrade. In this case, source is used as a verb as opposed to a noun.
