The biggest new domain conference of the year took place in January 2014; NamesCon broke new records, both in attendee and presentation numbers.
Most importantly, it presented a clear vision of the domain industry, as it expands in the coming years to embrace brands, gTLDs and exciting new products.
Having reached the half-point through 2014, NamesCon 2015 is now just six months away!
Now it’s the time to book your hotel room and to take advantage of cheap flight rates, not to mention, get your presentation and business cards ready! 😀
Don’t leave everything to the last minute.
The principals of NamesCon sent out an informational email with updates, and we’re including it below for your convenience:
NamesCon is more than six months away, and we already have more pre-registered attendees than most industry conferences achieve in attendance. YOU are the reason NamesCon is a success. Without your commitment to attend, we wouldn’t have the enthusiasm that we do for planning the largest non-ICANN event in years. We are expecting more than 800 attendees at NamesCon 2015, and we will have more conference space, an extra day, and pricing that draws in the industry crowd.
But where will everyone stay? Take a moment and book your nights now:
www.namescon.com/venueTalk to any veteran conference attendee and they’ll tell you that hotel choice is crucial. You want to stay at the conference hotel — it will be close to the sessions, anything you need in your room is nearby and if you continue to network later into the evening you will be able to. And popping down to the gym, or to the spa, for a little ‘me’ time will be easier to fit in to your schedule. The typical downside is that the designated conference hotel is usually a little more expensive. Not in our case. Not for you.
NamesCon is designed from a conference attendee’s point of view. We strive to exceed your expectations on networking, session content, and value. A reasonable per night rate at the actual conference hotel venue is one of the cornerstones of drawing the critical mass necessary for a successful event.
We have been able to secure a nightly room rate of $79/night throughout the conference at the Tropicana LV. There are only 1025 room nights blocked at this low rate. As we expect over 800 attendees in January, each staying 3 to 4 nights, you can see that this rate is only guaranteed for the early bird attendee.
Take a moment and book your nights now:
www.namescon.com/venueRemember – the conference starts on Sunday Jan 11th and will run through Wed Jan 14th. Most people will want to arrive on the Saturday (Jan 10th), or the morning of Sunday (Jan 11th) and check out on Thursday (Jan 15th).
Thank you for your support and we are looking forward to seeing you in January!
