We decided to launch a petition among domainers, asking for the reinstatement of Rod Beckstrom as CEO of ICANN.
Why, you may ask.
It’s not that the new CEO, Fadi Chehadé, is in any way incompetent; on the contrary, the man has an impressive resume as corporate executive.
Unfortunately, Rod Beckstrom’s charisma and personality are unmatched, and ICANN flourished under his tenure.
Not to mention, that we enjoyed dipping into Rod Beckstrom’s colorful personality over several posts here on DomainGang.
So help bring back Rod Beckstrom! He is an ICANN legend!
