Domain monetization giant, TrafficZ, made headlines last week, after announcing the immediate termination of its services.
In an email notification to TrafficZ clients, Ammar Kubba – founder and CEO – announced that the service is coming to an end:
“Please make sure to update your nameservers by 12:00 AM PST on next Wednesday, December 31, 2014, after which time we will no longer be serving ads from our upstream providers.”
Today news of an ongoing sale made the wire, with Domain Live Wire first hinting of a tentative sale of TrafficZ to a Czech media mogul:
“Have you seen that Traffi.CZ is an actual web site? We reached out to them and the Czech owner, Yanoshz Prztecs, is a self-made millionaire from Prague who had his eyes on TrafficZ.com for a while now.”
The apparent sale of the domain TrafficZ.com to Traffi.CZ and to a Czech domainer would perfectly make sense, as other assets such as Agreed.com and the Aftermarket portfolio have already been liquidated for millions of dollars.
Congratulations to Ammar and of course, Yanoshz Prztecs, for the acquisition of TrafficZ.com.
After Nissan failed to acquire the TrafficZ and rebrand it to Traffic.Z.com, they sold Z.com, as it was the only plan they had with Z.com 🙂
Mark – Thank you for the scoop! 😀 Domain innovation that definitely excites!
