The premium Twitter account @Domains has been released and already under new ownership.
With Twitter handles becoming important for use in every industry, the “@Domains” account was dormant for well over a year.
We inquired about that account in the summer of 2010 and Twitter’s response was that the account was not inactive at that time:
“Please note that you may not be able to tell whether an account is currently inactive, as not all signs of account activity are publicly visible.”
According to Twitter rules, inactive accounts may eventually be released to general availability.
The new account @Domains is owned by Canadian company Domain Media.
Congratulations @Domains and happy tweeting! 😀
That is a really cool twitter account name.
I bet that will give them alot of exposure for their domain names business.
Good Luck to them 🙂
In the domain world, it is better to have @domain than @domains, though If I have the chance to own one of them. it’s priceless.
Em – Plural is always better for products or commodities that are more common to exist in quantity.
My FaceBook handle is greatdomains. Dig that
I own @brightdomain
