Pseudo-IDN Domain of the day: ·Poker.com – WTF is an ‘interpunct’?

Pseudo-IDN domains are worse than pigeon shit!

Rick Schwartz commented the other day about a large list of pseudo-IDN domains, as being “below pigeon shit” in quality.

The same seller offered another such piece of steaming manure, which contained “Cherokee letters”: ᏒᎬᎪᏞᎬᏚᎢᎪᎢᎬ.com

But now he’s topping himself, with more sales of worthless domains, that are only good for phishing.

One such beauty, is ·Poker.com which contains an “interpunct“, a punctuation mark intended for pausing in the middle of a sentence, like a semicolon would.

The punycode for this piece of domain bologna is “xn--poker-pja.com

Totally worthless junk!
